Ragin' Cajuns, Wildcats meet for first time on the pitch
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Soccer team continues its three-match road swing through the Southeastern Conference on Thursday when it faces Kentucky in the first-ever meeting between the schools on the pitch.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CDT. The match will be streamed live on SEC Network + with live statistics available at RaginCajuns.com.

Louisiana (1-1-0), playing the second of four SEC opponents on the schedule, opened its road swing with a 2-0 setback at Mississippi State last Sunday. The Ragin' Cajuns will wrap up the road swing on Sunday at No. 17-ranked Tennessee and will host in-state rival LSU on Sept. 9.

With three goalkeepers with starting experience on the Louisiana roster, newcomer Libby Harper has played all 180 minutes through the first two matches of the season for the Ragin' Cajuns stopping six shots and posting a 1.00 goals against average.

Kentucky (1-0-1) opened its season with a 1-1 deadlock at Purdue on Aug. 19 before earning a 3-0 victory over Marshall last Sunday. Jordyn Rhodes has scored three of the Wildcats' four goals on the season while goalkeeper Laura Nielsen has sported a 0.47 goals against average in 192 minutes of work.
