Louisiana Ragin' Cajun soccer camps provide a fun, competitive, educational environment for athletes to improve their soccer skills. Camps are led by Chris McBride, head coach of the Ragin' Cajuns.

Youth Camps (Ages 5-12)
Dates: June 16-19, 2025 & July 7-10, 2025 | 9 AM - 3 PM
Location: Home Bank Soccer & Track Complex
Cost: $195 Half Day | $260 Full Day

Elite ID Camp (Ages 12-18)
Dates: July 26-27, 2025 | 12 PM - 8 PM
Location: Home Bank Soccer & Track Complex 
Cost: $225

FAQs

When is the last day I can register my child for camp?
You may register up until the day before camp but you will not receive any detail information that may have been emails to previously registered participants. 

We will have walk-up registration if you are unable to register before the day camp begins.

Is payment due at the time of registration?
Yes, payment is due at the time of registration.  However, you will not see the payment on your credit card until 2 weeks before camp in case camp will have to be canceled due to COVID restrictions.

Can I hold a spot for my child and then complete the registration later?
Due to the limited spaces available, it is not possible to hold a spot.

Are there any discounts available for University employees, siblings, teams, multiple sessions, etc.?
The only discount offer at this time is for UL Employees - 10% discount.

Can I get a refund if my child cannot attend the camp?
Yes, if our office is contacted before camp begins. The parent and/or guardian will need to complete a refund form.

There will be a $25 cancellation fee as well.

If my child cannot attend the registered camp, can we switch to another camp?
Yes, but only if there are available spaces in a camp that season.

Is there a waitlist if the week I want is full?
Yes, we will have a waitlist if it is full. If the camp is full, you will be asked if you want to be put on the waitlist. Once a spot opens, our office will contact you to see if you still want it and payment information.

Will I receive a confirmation with details about camp? When?
Yes, you will get a confirmation of payment and the week before camp begins, you will receive an email with more information on where to go and what to bring.

Can I change from a half day to a full day?
Yes, but you will need to pay the difference.

Do I need to pack a lunch for my camper?
Yes, you will need to provide lunch and snacks for your camper.

What type of supervision do you provide? Are campers supervised at all times?
Campers are supervised by camp staff and medical staff will be on site in the event of an injury.

Will my camper get a t-shirt for every camp attended?
Campers will receive a shirt at the first camp they attend.

Will camp cancel if it rains?
Camp will NOT cancel if it rains. In the event of weather, camp will move to the MONCLA Indoor Facility and run as scheduled.

Can parents/guardians stay and watch camp?
Yes, parents/guardians are welcome to stay and watch from the bleachers.

Will medical staff be available during camp? Will they provide taping for my camper?
A medical staff member will be at every camp, however they will not provide taping for campers. Please make sure your camper is taped and ready to participate when they arrive.

If my camper is hurt, what is the protocol during camp?
If a camper is hurt, our medical staff will attend to it and a parent/guardian will be contacted by phone.

What should my child bring to camp?
- Age-appropriate soccer ball
- Shin guards
- Cleats 
- Water bottle
- Sun screen
- Lunch (Full Day participants)
- Bathing Suit and Towel (Full Day participants)
- We also recommend tennis shoes or sneakers as "emergency" footwear
