Louisiana set for final regular-season road match looking for first win in Boone since 2014
BOONE, N.C. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Soccer team plays its final regular-season road match in 2021 on Thursday when it travels to face App State in a Sun Belt Conference contest at the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m., CT with the match being streamed live on ESPN+. Live results will be available at CajunStats.com.

Louisiana (6-8-2, 3-3-2 Sun Belt) posted a 1-0-1 record in a pair of matches last week at home after defeating Little Rock, 3-0, last Thursday before a 1-1 draw against Texas State last Sunday. The Ragin' Cajuns, who could finish as high as a tie for second in the final league standings, looks to pick up its first win at App State (4-10-1, 0-8-0 Sun Belt) since a 2-1 victory in the first-ever meeting between the schools in 2014.

The Mountaineers have won five of the seven meetings in the all-time series with Louisiana snapping a five-match slide in 2019 with a 1-0 double-overtime victory at the Ragin' Cajuns Track/Soccer Facility.

After facing App State, Louisiana will close out the regular season at home on Sunday (Oct. 24) against ULM in a 3 p.m. match.
