LAFAYETTE, La. – After a week to prepare, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team treks east to Mobile, Alabama, for the Sun Belt Conference Championships, Nov. 5-9, at The Cage on the campus of the University of South Alabama.

The Cajuns enter the tournament as the No. 7 seed and will take on the No. 2 seed Troy on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the second quarterfinal match. The winner will move on to face either No. 3 Texas State or No. 6 Georgia State in the semifinals Friday, Nov. 7 at 4 p.m. The championship match is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. on ESPN3.

- The Cajuns posted a 7-2-1 record at home this season, their third-straight winning season at the Cajuns Soccer Complex
- The seven home victories were the second most in program history behind the 8-2 mark set in 2010

- It's not a surprise for Ragin' Cajuns fans to see a freshman pacing the squad
- In 2013, freshmen Yazmin Montoya and Annika Schmidt totaled 54 of the team's 93 points during the season to lead the Ragin' Cajuns offense
- This season, freshman Danielle DeRosa has a team-high 18 points and is tied for the team lead with seven goals
