LAFAYETTE, La. - Following an 0-2 start in Sun Belt Conference play at home last weekend, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team hits the road this weekend with two matches in Alabama. The Cajuns will first take on Troy on Friday at 7 p.m. before traveling to South Alabama for a 1 p.m. contest Sunday.

Louisiana played in two competitive matches to begin conference action last week, dropping 2-1 decisions to both Georgia State and Georgia Southern. On Friday, Georgia State scored two first half goals to Louisiana's one and held the Cajuns off in the final 45 minutes to take the SBC opener. Against the Eagles on Sunday, Louisiana took a 1-0 lead into halftime, but Georgia Southern answered with goals in the 56th and 73rd minutes to record the victory.
