LAFAYETTE, La. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team will continue Sun Belt Conference play on Sunday when they take on ULM at the Johnnie Downs Sports Complex in Alexandria, La, at 3 p.m.

The game was originally scheduled to be played in Monroe at 1 p.m. but poor field conditions caused the teams to move to a neutral site.

The Cajuns are 4-5-2 on the season and 1-1-0 in Sun Belt play after splitting last weekend, defeating Georgia State (Sept. 27) and falling to Western Kentucky (Sept. 29).  The Warhawks are 5-7-1 on the season and 0-2-0 in Sun Belt play after falling to both Western Kentucky (Sept. 27) and Georgia State (Sept. 29) last weekend.

The Cajuns continued to get good offensive output from the freshman duo of Annika Schmidt and Yazmin Montoya. They combined for six points against Georgia State, notching a goal and an assist each.  For Schmidt, the game raised her season points total to 22 and broke Stacy Smith's school record of 21 points.

Montoya has scored four goals and added four assists for 12 points on the season.

Schmidt leads the conference in goals and second in points, behind Lauren Allison of South Alabama.  Allison has 25 points with nine goals and seven assists.

The Cajuns will finish up a three-game road trip against ULM, and return home for three games, taking on UALR (Oct. 11), Arkansas State (Oct. 13), and Texas State (Oct. 18).
