The Ragin’ Cajuns look for their first win in conference play
BOONE, N.C. - The Louisiana soccer team returns to the road as they take on App State on Sunday at noon in Boone, North Carolina. This marks the fourth out of five away games for the Ragin' Cajuns.
Louisiana looks to earn its first Sun Belt Conference victory after a 1-1 draw on Thursday. The Ragin' Cajuns scored on an own goal by Arkansas State despite leading in shots 17-4. Louisiana looks to get its first win in Boone since a 2-1 victory in 2014 in the first-ever meeting between the programs.
App State started the year strong with three straight wins, including one over Miami, but they are just 1-4-1 since. In that span, the Mountaineers have been held to just four goals, with three coming in their win over Longwood.
