Louisiana looks for their second-straight road win to get back to .500 in SBC play
SAN MARCOS, Texas – Coming off an 84-77 road win on Saturday, the Louisiana men's basketball team looks to keep the momentum rolling on the road against Texas State Wednesday night. The Cajuns have won the last four against the Bobcats including a pair of wins in the Sun Belt Conference Championships in Pensacola, Florida.
The Cajuns are coming off a win over Arkansas State in which four players scored in double figures. Hosana Kitenge led the way with a career-high 25 while pulling down seven rebounds. Kobe Julien registered his second straight 20-point performance, going 8-of-12 from the field. Themus Fulks had a nice night with 16 points and seven assists along with three steals. Michael Thomas finished with 10 points off the bench.
Last week the Bobcats went 1-1, including a road loss at the hands of Arkansas State on Thursday, 85-82. They snapped a five-game losing streak on Saturday with a 67-54 win at ULM. Four Bobcats are averaging double figures on the with Tyrel Morgan leading the way at 14.0 points per game.

• Last week Hosana Kitenge averaged 19.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. He scored a career-high 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting in the team's win over Arkansas State on Saturday. The junior leads the team at 14.6 points per game in SBC play while averaging 5.0 rebounds.
