Berrat Earns Seventh Win of the Spring at Coastal Carolina

The freshman leads the team with a 7-3 record
CONWAY, S.C. – Freshman Angelique Berrat continued her hot start to her college career on Saturday at Coastal Carolina. Berrat earned her team-leading seventh win for the Louisiana women's tennis team in Conway, South Carolina.
Berrat had a strong showing in doubles with teammate Carla Urchoeguia but fell in a close match, 7-5. After dropping the doubles point, action switched over to singles play. After dropping the match on court two, Berrat earned her win, 6-3, 6-4, on court three. That was as close as the Cajuns could get as the Chanticleers clinched the match over on court six. Things were closer than that though as Urchoeguia led in the second set on court two. On court five Momoko Yoshimura held the lead, 6-4, 5-1, before the match went unfinished.
