Louisiana returns to play after 2-1 win over Southern Miss

LAFAYETTE – Coming off a 2-1 win over Southern Miss in its last match, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Soccer team heads east to Mobile, Ala., to face Sun Belt Conference West Division leader South Alabama on Sunday at The Cage.
 
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+ with live stats available at CajunStats.com.
 
Louisiana (5-6-2, 2-4-0 SBC) got back into the win column behind first-half goals from Hailly Waterhouse and Alyssa Abbott. The Ragin' Cajuns snapped a three-match losing streak with the victory with their last victory coming on Sept. 21 against previously unbeaten Old Dominion.
 
The Ragin' Cajuns face a South Alabama (11-0-3, 4-0-2 SBC) squad which has won its last two matches and leads the all-time series, 13-5-7. The Jags have won the last three meetings in the series, including consecutive 1-0 decisions in the last two matches.
 
Megan Bradley (3), Henry (2) and Sisley Stephens (2) lead Louisiana in goals scored on the season with Mary Mueth leading the team with a pair of assists.
