Ragin' Cajuns, Jaguars meet for 24th time on the pitch

MOBILE, Ala. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Soccer team looks to cap off an unbeaten three-match roadtrip on Sunday when it faces defending Sun Belt Conference champion South Alabama at The Cage.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m., with the match being streamed live on ESPN+. Live results will be available at CajunStats.com.

Louisiana (4-6-0, 1-1-0 SBC) earned its first SBC win of the season on Friday with a 2-0 shutout at Troy. The freshmen tandem of Hailly Waterhouse and Tatum Beck each scored goals as Louisiana improved to 2-0 on its current road swing and earned its first win in Troy in nearly five years.

The Ragin' Cajuns, who are playing in Mobile for the first time since 2018, split a pair of matches with South Alabama (5-3-1, 1-1-1 SBC) last season with both matches played in nearby Foley, Ala. Louisiana claimed a 2-1 non-conference victory in double overtime in the opening contest before the Jaguars claimed a 4-1 decision in the semifinals of the 2020 Sun Belt Conference Championships.
