Ragin' Cajuns earn fourth-place finish in final tuneup prior to SBC Championships
MONTGOMERY, Texas – Hudson Dubinski recorded a 2-under-par 70 to post the team's low score and the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Golf team earned a fourth-place finish at the Huntsville Toyota Bearkat Invitational on Tuesday at Walden on Lake Conroe Golf Club.

Playing in its final tournament before the Sun Belt Conference Championships, scheduled for April 25-28, Louisiana carded a team score of 3-over-par 291 in the final round to finish at 876 for the 54-hole event.

First-day leader UT Arlington claimed the team title after posting a final-round score of 278 to finish at 851 overall. Host Sam Houston (858) finished second with Texas State (874), Louisiana (876) and Wichita State (878) rounding out the top five.

Dubinski's low round helped him record his fifth top-20 performance of the season for the Ragin' Cajuns after finishing tied for 13th overall at 2-over 218. The sophomore opened the day with consecutive birdies and went to 3-under 33 after a birdie at No. 9 before suffering his only blemish of the day with a bogey at the par-5, 582-yard No. 11.

Peter Hinnant (72-72-75-219) finished tied for 15th for Louisiana to post his fourth top-20 performance of the season with Charlie Flynn (72-77-72-221) finishing in a tie for 20th.

Bjorn Gudjonsson (72-72-79-223) finished tied for 25th for Louisiana with Hunter Hammett (79-81-74-234) finishing 63rd. Freshman Jake Marler (77-75-78-230), competing individually, finished tied for 48th.

UTA's Kyle Cox claimed medalist honors after recording a 3-under 69 and finishing at 6-under 210 for the event. Teammate Caleb Hicks, Sam Houston's Jack Randle and Mac Murphy of Louisiana Tech were two strokes back at 212. Â
