Ragin' Cajuns face Eagles looking to split weekend trip to the Southeast

STATESBORO, Ga. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Soccer team will look to earn a split in its weekend trip to the southeast part of the country when it faces Georgia Southern in a Sun Belt Conference match on Sunday at Eagle Field – Erk Park.

Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT, with the match being streamed live on ESPN+. Live results will be available at CajunStats.com.

Louisiana (5-8-0, 2-3-0 Sun Belt) opened its weekend trip dropping a 1-0 decision at Coastal Carolina on Friday. The Ragin' Cajuns held a 9-5 advantage in shots against the Chanticleers, but CCU's lone attempt in the first half was able to find the back of the net.

The Ragin' Cajuns hold a 4-2-0 advantage in the all-time series and meets Georgia Southern (9-4-2, 4-1-1 Sun Belt) for the first time since a 2-0 rain-soaked victory in Lafayette during the 2019 season.

Georgia Southern, with a 3-0-1 record in its last four matches, upped its home record to 5-0 on the season after defeating Texas State, 1-0, in overtime on Friday.
