Ragin' Cajuns have won last two matches in series; looks for first win in Conway
CONWAY, S.C. – Coming off a win at home over Arkansas State, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Soccer team heads back out on the road for a pair of Sun Belt Conference matches beginning Friday against Coastal Carolina at the CCU Soccer Stadium.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT, with the match being streamed live on ESPN+. Live results will be available at CajunStats.com. After facing Coastal Carolina (3-6-2, 1-3-1 SBC), the Ragin' Cajuns will head south to face Georgia Southern on Sunday in an 11 a.m. CT contest.

Louisiana (5-7-0, 2-2-0 SBC) earned a 2-1 victory over A-State in its last match, snapping a four-match skid to the Red Wolves with each contest resulting in a shutout. Karleen Bedre scored the game-winner for Louisiana in the 80th minute, the fifth game-winning goal in her career, while serving up Tatum Beck's goal off a corner kick.

Bedre leads Louisiana in goals scored (4), assists (4) and points (12) with Beck (3 goals), Rachel Sutter (2 goals) and Hailly Waterhouse (2 goals) each following in goals scored.

Louisiana has won the last two meetings in the series against the Chanticleers, including a 3-0 decision in the 2020 Sun Belt Conference Championships. Hailey Hoffmann, Mya Smith and Alyssa Abbott each scored goals for the Ragin' Cajuns in earning their second consecutive semifinal appearance.
