First Half Push Moves Little Rock Past @RaginCajunsSOC

LAFAYETTE, La. – The Louisiana soccer team allowed multiple goals in the first half for only the fourth time this season as the Ragin' Cajuns fell to conference foe Little Rock 3-0 on Friday evening at the Ragin' Cajuns Soccer/Track Facility.
Louisiana (3-10-2, 2-5-0 SBC) was outshot 19-10 in the contest by the Trojans (9-3-2, 4-1-1 SBC). Little Rock also had a 7-0 advantage in corners in the match.
The Ragin' Cajuns notched four shots on goal in the contest with Savanna Young and Sarah Kozlowski posting two apiece.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Little Rock got on the board in the 22nd minute when Doro Greulich collected the rebound from her own shot off of the crossbar and then slotted it on the ground past keeper Victoria Ryan to make the score 1-0.
The Trojans extended the lead to 2-0 in the 36th minute on a shot from outside the 18-yard box by Fanney Einarsdotir that sailed over the head of Ryan into the top of the net.
Natalee Geren tallied the final goal of the match for Little Rock in the 43rd minute on a one-time shot on a pass from Camilla Olsson.
UP NEXT
The Ragin' Cajuns head to Statesboro, Ga. on Sunday at 11 a.m. CT to face Georgia Southern in a makeup from the contest that was canceled in September due to hurricane Florence.
