LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team (8-8-2, 2-5-1 SBC) concludes their 2015 regular season schedule with a single match this weekend at ULM on Sunday, October 25 for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
Â
Entering the final week of the 2015 regular season, the Cajuns hold a three-point lead in the conference standings over Arkansas State for the eighth and final seed for the conference tournament. Louisiana closes out the regular season with a road matchup at ULM this Sunday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. while Arkansas State battles the top two teams in the Sun Belt Conference on the road, Troy and South Alabama. An Arkansas State loss on Friday at Troy or a UL win on Sunday at ULM would secure the final spot in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament for the Cajuns. Should fifth-place Georgia Southern lose their final twomatches and the Cajuns defeat ULM, Louisiana would claim the No. 7 seed for the tournament, holding the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Eagles.
