LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team (8-6-2, 2-3-1 SBC) wraps up the home portion of their 2015 schedule hosting Texas State and Appalachian State at the Cajuns Soccer Complex. The Cajuns, looking to extend their current unbeaten streak to three matches, open the weekend with the Bobcats on Friday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. Louisiana will end the weekend with a noon kickoff with the Mountaineers of Appalachian State on Sunday, Oct. 18.

The Cajuns' four seniors, Lindsey Stocks, Claire Ruehle, Caroline Trahan and Elizabeth Manuel will be honored prior to Sunday's match against Appalachian State.

Louisiana currently sits a half game behind Appalachian State and Georgia State in seventh place in the Sun Belt standings with seven conference points.

Cajun goalkeepers (Cosette Morche, Lindsey Stocks, Kristen Eddy) have combined for 107 saves this season, highest among Sun Belt Conference schools. Morche leads all conference keepers with 82 saves, an average of 6.83 per match, also tops in the Sun Belt Conference.

Cajun Notes
* Morche owns four shutouts this season, moving her into a tie with Leslie Beckman for third place on the Cajuns' all-time list. She is two shy (6) of tying Stephanie Weston for first place on the Cajuns' all-time single season record.

* Junior forward Yazmin Montoya sits in sole possession of second place in points (51) and assists (11) in Ragin' Cajuns history. She needs two points and two assists to pass Courtney Hofland as the program's all-time leader in both categories, and two scores to pass Kelli Jestes as the all-time leader in goals.

* Junior midfielder Kimberly Grasso recorded her fourth goal of the season last Friday against Arkansas State and is one shy of matching her career high of five set last season.

* Sophomore forward Ashleigh Cade has three goals and three assists this season for nine points. A season ago, she recorded three assists for three points.

* Entering this week, the Cajuns are tied for second in the Sun Belt Conference with six shutouts (Little Rock). The six shutouts are the most for the Louisiana program since 2013, when they also recorded six.

Scouting the Texas State Bobcats
* The Bobcats have lost their past three matches overall.

* Texas State is 3-3 on the road this season.

* 19 of the team's 25 goals have come in the second half or overtime.

* Junior forward Lauren Prater is ranked third in the Sun Belt Conference with eight goals.

Scouting the Appalachian State Mountaineers
* The Mountaineers dropped a pair of 3-0 matches on the road against South Alabama and Troy last week.

* Appalachian State is 1-4-1 on the road this season.

* Senior defender Merlin Beckwith has three goals (two match winners) and four assists for
10 points.

* Senior goalkeeper Megan Roberson owns a 1.47 GAA in 13 starts to go with 44 saves and
two shutouts (two combined).

Series History with the Texas State Bobcats
* The Cajuns trail in the all-time series 2-1. The most recent meeting resulted in a 2-1 loss for Louisiana last season on Oct. 19, 2014 in San Marcos, Texas.

Series History with the Appalachian State Mountaineers
* Cajuns lead the all-time series 1-0. Louisiana defeated Appalachian State in the only meeting last season 2-1 on Oct. 17, 2014 in Boone, NC.
