LAFAYETTE, La. – After a two-match road swing in Alabama last weekend, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team returns home to host UALR on Friday at 7 p.m. before concluding the weekend with a 1 p.m. contest Sunday against Arkansas State.

The Cajuns went 0-1-1 in Sun Belt Conference action last week, dropping a 2-0 decision to Troy before battling SBC preseason favorite South Alabama to a 4-4 draw. Against the Jaguars, sophomore midfielder Annika Schmidt totaled five points, the most by a Cajun this season, with two goals and one assist. Schmidt's goal in the 86^th minute kept the Cajuns alive as it evened the contest at 4-4 late in regulation.

Scouting the Trojans
- UALR began the 2014 season with a perfect 9-0 mark, but have a 0-3-1 record since starting conference play
- The Trojans are sixth in the nation with 2.77 assists/game and 8.92 points/game, and seventh in the country with 3.08 goals/game
- The Trojans have recorded seven shutouts in 13 games this season for a .538 shutout percentage, which ties for 29th in the nation
- UALR is holding opponents to 9.2 shots/game and has allowed just 11 goals this season

Montoya Climbing the Record Books
- After a four-point outing against Lamar on Sept. 14, Yazmin Montoya moved into third place in the Louisiana record books in goals and points
- Through last weekend, Montoya has recorded 45 points and 19 goals
- Montoya has also moved up the charts in shots (118) and shots on goal (51) as she sits third all-time for shots and fifth in shots on goal
- In 2013, Montoya set single-season school records in points (31), goals (13), shots (86) and shots on goal (38)
- The sophomore is just seven points shy from tying Courtney Hofland's school record of 52 career points, and two goals away from tying Kelli Jestes' school record of 21 career goals

70 Starts
- Senior defender Grace Howell-Harries has been a consistent leader for the Ragin' Cajuns for several seasons, and her numbers prove it
- Howell-Harries has started every game she has played in, now at 70, which places her seventh all-time in career starts
- She also played every minute for Louisiana during the 2012 and 2013 seasons
