Jordan Domenick currently serves as the Assistant Director of Sports Nutrition after joining the department staff in August 2018.
Before joining the Ragin’ Cajuns, Domenick served as the Sports Nutrition Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he worked with Football, Baseball, Swim & Dive, Rowing and Fencing from 2017-18.
From 2016-17, Domenick worked as a Clinical Dietitian in a behavioral health setting and as a Registered Dietitian at a private practice. He worked with clients and athletes on weight loss, body composition and performance goals.
Jordan earned his bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Central Missouri in 2015. Domenick completed his master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with an emphasis in Nutrition and Physical Performance from Saint Louis University in 2016. He completed his dietetic internship and master’s research under Dr. Ted Weiss.
Domenick was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps in January 2012. During his enlistment he completed a tour of duty in Afghanistan, was certified as a Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor and received a Good Conduct Medal along with multiple letters of commendation.
Jordan is a Registered Dietitian with the Committee on Dietetic Registration and is licensed in Louisiana and North Carolina. He holds his CSSD certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
