The Cajun men and women finished second as a team
BATON ROUGE, Louisiana - The Louisiana cross country team put up a strong performance at the LSU Invitational on Friday.
Racing in a two-person relay, the Cajun men and women both finished second as a team. The duo of Ella Segura and Isabelle Russell paced the women in third place, while Henry Lyon and Matthew Maynard did so on the men's side.
Racing in a 2x3K, Segura and Russell finished with a time of 21:17.9. The men ran a 2x4K, with Lyon and Maynard crossing the finish line in 25:02.1. Overall, Ahry Comer and Edna Chepkemoi of LSU, 20:47.2, won on the women's side. The men's race was won by LSU's Casey Goetschel and Hugh Carlson with a time of 24:35.3.
