Louisiana takes to the course for the third of four meets this fall

LAKE CHARLES, La. - The Louisiana cross country team heads west on I-10 for the Cowboy Stampede, hosted by McNeese.

Louisiana is one of six schools slated to run in Lake Charles, joining host McNeese, Houston Christian, Louisiana Tech, Northwestern State, and Rice. Entering their third meet of the season, Louisiana has had a strong fall. Last time out, the men and women both finished second at the LSU Invitational. This came after the men were third and the women fourth at the Battle of New Orleans to open the fall.

The Ragin' Cajuns have just one meet remaining before the Sun Belt Conference Championships when they head to College Station, Texas, for the Arturo Barrios Invitational on October 17.
