Louisiana Looks to Get Back on Track Against ULM

The Cajuns have won six of the last seven in the series
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana men's basketball team looks to get back in the win column on Saturday as they host ULM at 7 p.m. in the Cajundome. Louisiana has dropped the last two Sun Belt Conference games after starting league play 2-0.
Kentrell Garnett just needs to step on the court to make history on Saturday. The senior is tied for the most games played as a Cajun at 136 and will pass Bryce Washington and Steven Wronkonski. He is also sixth in school history with 211 made threes, one behind Blaine Harmon for fifth in program history.
Mostapha El Moutaouakkil has been one of the best in Sun Belt Conference play. The junior enters Saturday in the top five in scoring (17.3) and rebounds (7.8) in league action, including 16 points and seven rebounds on Thursday against Old Dominion. Jeremiah Evans broke out against ODU, with the freshman scoring a career-high 19 points.

• Derrick Zimmerman earned the first win of his coaching in Louisiana's 71-68 victory over Coastal Carolina. The Cajuns trailed by as many as 13 in the second half before ending the game on a 10-1 run in the win.
