Cajuns Head to Texas for Early Morning Meet

Louisiana competes against 14 other schools in the Texas A&M Invitational
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Louisiana cross country team heads to the Lone Star State for the Texas A&M Invitational on Friday, September 13. The men will open the event at 8 a.m. with an 8k before the women follow at 8:45 a.m. with a 5k.
In the team's opener, Alexandra Johnson led the women with a 28th-place finish at 16:01.83. She was followed by Juliana Courville (30th, 16:11.63), Chloe Crowell (32nd, 16:25.37), Peyton Sievers (35th, 16:48.21), and Ava Lemoine (40th, 17:03.00). On the men's side, Josh Quintana (24th, 15:55.60) led the way in his collegiate debut. Following him were Matthew Maynard (27th, 15:58.12), Owen Tauzin (28th, 16:02.23), Ben Lewis (32nd, 16:22.65), and Justin Descant (43rd, 17:03.00.
This will be the first of two trips to Bryan-College Station for the Cajuns, who will also return for the annual Arturo Barrios Invitational in October.
