Louisiana Closes Road Trip with 5-2 Victory Over JMU

The Cajuns return home for their final three matches of the regular season
HARRISONBURG, Virginia - The Louisiana men's tennis team ended a four-game road trip on a high note after defeating James Madison 5-2 on Saturday. The Ragin' Cajuns now return home for their final three matches of the regular season.
Vasil Dimitrov and Leonard Tramolay got things going with a 6-2 victory in doubles. After the Dukes won on court one, Oriol Fillat Gimenez and William Ribero clinched the point with a 6-3 win on court three.
Fillat Gimenez made quick work in singles with a 6-1, 6-1 win, his sixth in a row. Samuel Kyjaci put Louisiana up 3-0 with a win on court four, 6-2, 6-7 (0-7), 6-2. JMU got one back with a win on two before the Cajuns clinched the match. Tramolay did the honors with a 5-7, 6-2, 6-3 win, his fourth singles win in a row. Alejandro Sanchez Gonzalez capped off the win by taking his match on court one in a third set tiebreaker, 5-7, 6-1, 7-6 (7-2).
Louisiana returns to Lafayette for their final three matches of the regular season. Next Sunday they'll host Southern Miss with first serve scheduled for 2 p.m. from Cajun Courts.
