Louisiana Wraps-Up Regular Season Against South Alabama

LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana women's tennis team finished the regular season with their home finale on Saturday, April 22 against South Alabama at Cajun Courts. Despite the Cajuns' best efforts, the Jaguars left Lafayette with a 4-0 victory.
On doubles court one, Carla Urchoeguia and Angelique Berrat were caught in a tight battle at 4-5 before the Jags secured the point on courts two and three. Berrat cruised in her opening set once singles action rolled around. She took it 6-1 and was about to enter the third set when her match was declared unfinished. Lucie Raquin held the lead in the second set on court three at 3-2 before her match was called as well. The Jaguars took the matches on courts one, four and five to secure the match.
