Louisiana Puts 18-Game Home Winning Streak on the Line Against EKU

The winning streak is tied for the fourth longest in the country
LAFAYETTE, Louisiana – The Louisiana men's basketball team puts one of the longest home-winning streaks on the line tomorrow night against Eastern Kentucky. The Cajuns have won 18 in a row at the Cajundome, currently tied for the fourth-longest streak in the nation.
Kobe Julien had another huge game for the Cajuns, racking up 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting with a career-high five made threes, at Louisiana Tech on Saturday. The junior is averaging 23.5 points per game over his last six games and has scored 20 or more points four times. He's been scoring incredibly efficiently, shooting .552 percent from the field in just 29.8 minutes per game in that span.
Joe Charles finished with 10 points, his seventh game in double figures this season. Themus Fulks added nine points along with six assists. Hosana Kitenge scored seven points with six rebounds and four steals. The Cajuns forced 21 turnovers, tying a season-high, and recorded 14 steals.

Julien is one of six players this season shooting at least. 500/.450/.850 and averaging more than 15 points per game.
• Since 1992-93, only three players have finished the season averaging 20 points and shooting .500/.480/.850. Doug McDermott from Creighton was the last to do it in 2012-13, joining Jaycee Carroll of Utah State in 2007-08, and Bill McCaffrey of Vanderbilt in 1992-93.
