Louisiana holds opposition to one goal in three spring matches

LAFAYETTE - Freshman Emma Bates' unassisted goal led the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Soccer team to a 1-0 win over Southern in a spring exhibition match on Wednesday at the Home Bank Track & Soccer Facility.

Lauryn Starwood and Reese Keller combined to pitch Louisiana's second clean sheet in three matches during the spring. The friendly win Louisiana's third in spring 11-v-11 competition under first-year coach Chris McBride with the Ragin' Cajuns outscoring their opponents, 11-1.
