Starwood, Keller combine to notch clean sheet in debut under Chris McBride

LAFAYETTE – Hailly Waterhouse scored a pair of goals to lead an offensive attack as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Soccer team posted a 6-0 victory over LSU-Eunice in a spring exhibition match on Friday at the Ragin' Cajuns Track/Soccer Facility.

Redshirt freshman Gabi Placke, who missed the 2021 season due to injury, added a goal for the Ragin' Cajuns in her collegiate debut with Ruthny Mathurin adding a goal on a penalty kick, Carol Rodriguez scoring on a header off a corner kick and Mya Smith scoring a goal from 35 yards out.

Lauryn Starwood and Reese Keller each split time in goal for the Ragin' Cajuns, who were making their debut under head coach Chris McBride.
