Louisiana Soccer Hosts LSU-Eunice in Spring Exhibition

Fans can get first look at Chris McBride-led Ragin' Cajuns

LAFAYETTE – Soccer fans can get their first look of the Chris McBride-led Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Soccer team on Friday when it plays host to LSU-Eunice in a spring exhibition match at the Ragin' Cajuns Track/Soccer Facility.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. Admission to the friendly is free with the teams scheduled to play a pair of 45-minutes halves.

McBride, who was named the fourth head coach in school history on Feb. 24, inherits a Louisiana team which returns 19 players from the 2021 roster highlighted by All-Sun Belt Conference performers Karleen Bedre and Ruthny Mathurin.

Tatum Beck, the team's second-leading scorer as a freshman, returns for the Ragin' Cajuns while newcomers Emma Bates (freshman) and Grand Canyon transfer Perri Belzer will make their Louisiana debut.
