Ragin' Cajuns Women's Tennis Set for Pair of Weekend Matches

Louisiana takes on Southern at home before traveling to McNeese on Sunday
LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Women's Tennis looks to bounce back from a tough loss in its last outing when it prepares for a home match against Southern (Feb. 12) and road test at McNeese (Feb. 13). Saturday's contest is slated for Noon, while Sunday's contest in Lake Charles will begin at 8 a.m.
The Ragin' Cajuns are coming off a heartbreaking defeat to Stephen F. Austin when the team fell, 4-3.
Tanisha Kashyap has been strong all year in singles play with a 2-0 record, with both victories coming on Court 5.
Southern is 0-2 on the season, with 4-0 defeats at Tulane and Nicholls. The Cajuns and Jaguars were scheduled to play on Friday, Feb. 4, but the match was postponed due to cold temperatures.
McNeese enters the contest with a 1-5 overall recording, winning 4-1 over Grambling in its last match.
