Louisiana, Southern Miss Meet In Regular-Season Finale

First meeting between Ragin' Cajuns, Golden Eagles as SBC rivals

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Soccer team wraps up the regular season on Thursday when it faces new Sun Belt Conference rival Southern Miss at the USM Soccer Complex.
 
Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m., and admission is free. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+ with live stats available at CajunStats.com.
 
Louisiana (3-8-5, 2-5-2 SBC) looks to reach the SBC Championships for the fourth consecutive season as it faces USM (1-9-4, 1-5-3 SBC) for the first time as league members. The Ragin' Cajuns, currently tied for 10th place in the league standings, earned a 2-1 win over the Golden Eagles in their last visit to Hattiesburg in 2015.
 
Ruthny Mathurin (5 goals, 3 assists, 13 points) and Karleen Bedre (3 goals, 5 assists, 11 points) lead Louisiana in scoring on the season.
