Two-day, 54-hole event being played on the Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Coming off a 10th-place finish in its 2021-22 debut, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Golf Team returns to play on Monday when it competes in the Lone Star Invitational on the Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament begins on Monday at 8:30 a.m., with a 36-hole shotgun start with the final round set for an 8:30 a.m., shotgun start on Tuesday.

Louisiana joins tournament host UTSA in the 13-team field which includes Houston Baptist, Incarnate Word, Lamar, New Mexico State, Oral Roberts, Southeastern Louisiana, Stephen F. Austin, UT Martin, UT Arlington, UTRGV and Texas State.

Louisiana opened play last week at Louisiana Tech's Jim Rivers Intercollegiate finishing 10th in the 20-team field. The Ragin' Cajuns posted a team score of 4-over 292 in the final round and finished the 54-hole event at 873.

Charlie Flynn, who finished in a tie for 11th place for Louisiana in the 119-player field at 3-under 213, will lead the Ragin' Cajuns five-man lineup with freshman Eli Ortego and Peter Hinnant making their second appearance of the season.

Senior Justin Caldwell makes his 2021-22 debut for Louisiana while sophomore Jose Dibildox makes his Ragin' Cajuns debut.
