Contest between Ragin' Cajuns, Cardinals moved up one day to Oct. 15
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Soccer team announced on Tuesday that its scheduled home finale against Lamar has been moved up one day to an Oct. 15 contest at the Ragin' Cajuns Track/Soccer Facility.
Â
The match, originally scheduled for Oct. 16, will start at 7 p.m.
Â
Louisiana (2-2-0, 0-1-0 Sun Belt) will return home for its next seven matches beginning on Thursday against Arkansas State. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m., with the match part of Louisiana Soccer's Friends and Family Weekend.
Â
The Ragin' Cajuns will wrap up the weekend on Sunday against ULM in a 1 p.m. contest. The match will also commemorate Senior Day as the Ragin' Cajuns senior class will be recognized in a post-match ceremony.
Â
The Ragin' Cajuns Track/Soccer Facility will operate at a significantly reduced capacity for the 2020 season (unless state policy changes during the season). This will allow for fans and University students to be accommodated this season.
Â
Should disruptions or modifications to the 2020 season occur due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Athletics will quickly communicate the adjustments through its social media channels and RaginCajuns.com. Additionally, the department will communicate any changes to specific entry and attendance protocols for home matches.
