In this Q&A feature article, you will "Get to Kneaux" Ragin' Cajuns soccer midfielder Una Einarsdottir. A native of Gardur, Iceland, she served as a team captain during the 2019 season and helped Louisiana to a 9-8-3 record and a semifinal berth in the Sun Belt Conference Women's Soccer Championships.

What has become your daily routine during quarantine?
UE: "I wake up around 9 and eat breakfast, then I usually go workout around noon. After workout I either do my schoolwork or try to lay out in the sun."
What has Head Coach Key's message to your team been during this unprecedented time?
UE: "Coach Key thinks the an important thing is to just keep doing what authorities say to do and try to be safe. Also keep up with the schoolwork!"
An important question: what is your favorite food?
UE: "My favorite food is a good medium rare steak."
Take us back to when you decided to come to the University and become a Ragin' Cajun. What about the school helped you make that decision?
UE: "I was very excited about their facilities and I really liked how Lafayette was a smaller town."
What is your earliest sports memory?
UE: "When I was following my dad around while he worked for the sports team in my hometown."
Growing up, your sports hero was who? And why?
UE: "I loved Fernando Torres when he was at Liverpool. It was strictly because I loved Liverpool and I wanted to be a goal scorer like him."Â
What is your major, and what about it do you like most?
UE: "Sports Management. What I like the opportunity to be around sports in the future."
What class have you enjoyed most at the University so far?
UE: "English 365. Ms. (Garnet) Branch is a great professor and I think it is a big reason why I loved that class so much. It did as well teach me a lot of technical writing things that I will use in the future."
What are your plans after your academic and athletic career at Louisiana is done?
UE: "I want to get my masters degree but I'm not sure if I want to do it in the States or go back to Europe to do it. I think after that, I want to travel the world to explore before settling down."
