Louisiana plays second of five games in nine-day period
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Men's Basketball team wraps up a four-game homestand on Saturday when it entertains Sun Belt Conference rival Troy at the Cajundome.

Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. The game can be heard in the Lafayette area on KHXT 107.9 FM, ESPN 1420 and the ESPN 1420 app. The game will also be available on ESPN+ with live results available at CajunStats.com.

Louisiana (5-9, 0-3 Sun Belt) dropped its second consecutive league game by three points after a 60-57 setback to preseason favorite South Alabama on Thursday. Freshman Mylik Wilson scored a career-high 17 points to lead the Ragin' Cajuns with Cedric Russell scoring all 12 of his points in the second half.

Troy (5-9, 1-2 Sun Belt), led by first-year coach and former UT Arlington coach Scott Cross, dropped a 79-63 decision at ULM on Thursday. Ty Gordon came off the bench to score 17 points to lead the Trojans while Tahj Small also came off the bench to add 10.

The game against Troy is the second of five for Louisiana in a nine-day period that includes upcoming games at Appalachian State (Jan. 6), Georgia State (Jan. 9) and Georgia Southern (Jan. 11).
