@RaginCajunsSOC Announces Summer Camp Dates

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Soccer and head coach Lance Key has announced a full slate of four summer camp dates, starting with a College Prep ID Clinic, starting on May 11 and running through May 12, with the dates running all the way through until the midway point of July.

COLLEGE PREP ID CLINCS: Louisiana will hold its College Prep ID Clinics, starting on Saturday, May 11 to Sunday, May 12. The clinic, which costs $205 for the entire weekend (university employees get a 10% discount), will be a chance for Coach Key and assistant coach Stephen Salas to get on the pitch with athletes who are in at least eighth grade, but have no yet graduated from high school. Each day begins at 10 a.m. and runs through until 4 p.m.
DAY CAMPS: Starting on June 24, Louisiana will host its Day Camps for boys and girls ages 6-13. Â The first session will run from June 24-28 and the second session will go from July 15-19.
Each session is specifically designed for a fun and unique experience, while utilizing Louisiana's first-class facilities. Players will be placed in small groups, according to age and ability, to allow for more individualized attention from the coaching staff and members of the Louisiana squad.Â
The cost of each camp session is $225 and runs through the week, with each day starting at 9 a.m. and running through until 4 p.m. Attendees are required to bring a water bottle; soccer ball; swimsuit (for a daily trip to the Bourgeois Hall Pool); towel; sunscreen; cleats; tennis shoes; extra change of shorts; shirt; socks; lunch and shin guards.
