MONROE, La. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team is set to close out the 2015 regular season this weekend as the Cajuns face ULM in a three-game series at Warhawk Field starting Thursday at 6 p.m.

The two teams will meet for game two on Friday at 6 p.m. before closing out the series on Saturday at 1 p.m.

All three games can be heard live on the Ragin' Cajuns Radio Network with Jay Walker making the call. Game one of the series will be broadcast on ESPN 1420-AM, while games two and three will be aired on News Talk 96.5 KPEL-FM. Live stats and video are available on RaginCajuns.com.

The Ragin' Cajuns (31-20, 15-11 Sun Belt) are currently in fourth place in the league standings and can finish anywhere from second to sixth place heading into the conference tournament next week in Troy, Ala.

Louisiana will use the same rotation for the fifth straight weekend series with an all-true freshman rotation. Left-hander Gunner Leger (5-4, 2.94 ERA) will take the bump on Thursday making his 13th start of the season. Despite going 1-2 in his last three outings, Leger has allowed just three runs in 22.2 innings with no walks and 18 strikeouts.

The Cajuns will close out the series with right-handers Evan Guillory (3-0, 4.16 ERA) and Wyatt Marks (5-1, 3.27 ERA) on the mound. The pair has combined to post four quality starts in the last three series.

Junior shortstop Blake Trahan continues to lead the Cajuns offense hitting .345 with 14 doubles, 25 RBI, 41 runs and 15 stolen bases. Tyler Girouard is second on the squad with a .339 average and 14 doubles, while Stefan Trosclair has a team-best 12 home runs and 35 RBI.

The Ragin' Cajuns hold a 79-52 all-time series lead against the Warhawks and have won the last 13 meetings after winning all seven contests a year ago. The Cajuns are 39-18 under head coach Tony Robichaux in the series.

ULM (25-26, 12-15 Sun Belt) comes into the series in eighth place in the Sun Belt and has won its last two conference series against Troy and UALR. The Warhawks won the opening game of their series last weekend against UALR 10-7 before falling 4-1 in game two. ULM claimed the series with a 6-1 victory in the finale.

The Warhawks have the third best ERA (4.05) in the league to go with the fifth best average (.272). Junior right-hander Alex Hermeling will get the nod for ULM in the series opener. Hermeling is 4-6 with a 4.00 ERA in 13 starts.

Senior left-hander Trey Setzer is slated to make the start on Friday. The Warhawks have yet to announce a starter for the series finale Saturday.

Keelin Rasch paces the ULM offense hitting .359 with 12 doubles, three triples, nine home runs and 41 RBI. As a team, the Warhawks have 107 doubles, 15 doubles and 33 home runs.

Following the ULM series, the Cajuns return to action next week as they head to the 2015 Sun Belt Conference Tournament starting Wednesday in Troy, Ala.
