Ragin’ Cajuns Golf Heads To 2013 Argent Financial Classic

CHOUDRANT, La. – The Ragin' Cajun golf team is back in action this week as Louisiana heads to the Argent Financial Classic, which begins Monday. The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be played on the par-72, 7,105-yard course at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, La.

Teams are scheduled to play 36 holes on Monday, beginning with an 8 a.m. shotgun start, Tuesday's final round will have tee times starting at 8 a.m. Live scoring for all three rounds will be available at www.GolfStat.com.

The 12-team field includes host Louisiana Tech, Central Arkansas, Jackson State, Jacksonville State, Louisiana, No.15 LSU, McNeese State, Missouri State, No.32 North Texas, Southern Miss, Texas State and UALR. The Cajuns finished 4th at the Oak Hills Invite a year ago.

Seniors Yohann Vora, Brandt Garon and Ethan Savoy will look to lead the squad at Squire Creek, while freshmen Ross Davis and Thomas Strandemo round out the lineup for the Ragin' Cajuns. Jason Noto will also see action as an individual.
