Tom Burke, a member of the Louisiana Athletics Department since January of 2009, currently serves as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance. In his role, Burke is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and serves as the sport program administrator for Football.
Burke has previously served as the sport program administrator for Men’s Tennis, Women’s Tennis, and Men’s and Women’s Track & Field.
Nationally, Burke is a member of the National Association for Athletics Compliance, having served on the Reasonable Standards Committee from 2016-2022.
Burke was a member of the Newberry College Men’s Basketball team, earning his undergraduate degree in 2007. He later received his master’s in Sport and Fitness Management from Troy University in 2009.
Burke and his wife, Jessica, live in Lafayette with their children (Brody, Kali, Brooks, and Lola).
