JUNIOR SEASON (2003)
Switched from midfielder slot to defender...Helped
organize the Cajuns defensive efforts in the
backfield...Scored her second career goal in the Cajuns
match at North Texas Oct. 24...Collected an assist on
Courtney Kelly’s first career goal when she sent in a
free kick from 45 yards out to set up the Cajuns lone
score against Western Kentucky Oct. 31.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2002)
Hard nosed midfielder who dominated the midfield on
the ground and in the air…Fierce ball winner who did all
the dirty work needed to help regain and maintain
possession in the midfield…She was by far the hardest
worker on the team...Saw action in 17 matches and
tallied seven shots...Scored her first career goal at
the 13:15 mark of the Cajuns 4-0 rout of Nicholls State
on Sept. 24 at Cajun Field.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2001)
Appeared in 16 matches, starting 15...Had 13 total
shots, six of them being shots on goal...Finished her
freshman season with one assist to her credit...That
assist came in a match with Arkansas State Oct. 12...She
sent a corner kick toward the net that was tapped in by
Jenny Brown for the early 1-0 lead.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered in four sports at West Montgomery HS...Was
a four-year letterwinner in soccer as a midfielder for
head coach Mary Gilman and helped lead the Warriors to
two appearances in the state playoffs...Named All-Conference
for four consecutive years and was recognized as Player
of the Year as a sophomore and junior...Played in 50
matches during her first three years and tallied 47
goals and 40 assists...Once scored 21 goals in 18
matches in a year...Ended prep career as school’s career
leader in goals and assists...Also earned three letters
in football as a kicker for head coach Charlie Haire...School
record holder in cross country with a time of 20:06, the
1,600-meter with a time of 5:47 and the 3,200-meter with
a time of 12:36.
