FRESHMAN SEASON (2003)
Was third on the team with seven points...Ranked
second on the team and tied for first among all freshman
with three goals...Appeared in 19 matches, starting in
10 – became a mainstay in the lineup after the Oct. 9
match at Centenary by starting the final nine matches
following...Scored the only goal of the match with
Arkansas-Little Rock, rifling in a penalty kick in the
26th minute...The goal helped the Cajuns to their third
straight victory over UALR and was the sixth of the
season tying the school record...Her first career goal
came in the season opener against Jackson State...She
scored the Cajuns sixth of the match and first of the
second half in a record-breaking 10-0 win...Scored the
Cajuns lone goal at Centenary when she evened the score
in the 57th minute...Had one of two helpers on Courtney
Kelly’s first career goal against Western Kentucky for
the first assist of her career.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered for three years at St. Pius X High School
in Sandia Park, N.M....Helped lead the team to a state
title in 1999 and a playoff appearance each
year...Scored 10 goals and collected five assists over
her sophomore and junior seasons...Was named Freshmen
MVP and was a two-year captain...All-District and
All-State performer in 2002.
