2024-25
• Played in nine rounds during the fall, seeing action in the Argent Financial Classic, Trinity Forest Invitational and Everett Buick GMC Classic.
• Posted a 74.33 scoring average in three events.
• Recorded rounds of par or better four times.
• Carded a season-low, 3-under-69 in the opening round of the Everett Buick GMC Classic.
• Best 54-hole finish (1-over-217) during the fall was at the Trinity Forest Invitational.
PRIOR TO LOUISIANA
• Played three seasons at New Orleans before transferring to Louisiana.
• The brother of former Privateer Brady Bennett - the pair become the first brothers to play on the same Privateer team since Clayton O'Callaghan and Travis O'Callaghan ran cross country together in 2018.
• Finished in the top-10 in his Privateer debut (as an independent) after shooting a 209 at the 2021 Grover Page Classic, sank his first career eagle on hole 15 during the first round.
• Finished second overall at the 2023 Louisiana Classics with a score of 216 – led the tournament going into the back nine and finished ahead of the reigning U.S Amateur Champion Sam Bennett.
• Participated in the first match play event in over 30 years for the Privateers – Grand Bear Match Play in April during his sophomore season.
• Won the 40th Louisiana Golf Association Four-Ball Championship with brother Brady Bennett – the pair finished 17-under-par at Mallard Golf Club in Lake Charles, La.
• Became the second Privateer in school history (after teammate Grayson Gilbert in 2020) to qualify for the US Amateur after shooting a 135 at his home course of Beaver Creek in July of 2022.
• In 10 tournaments in 2023-2024 collected six top-20 finishes, three top-10 finishes and two third place finishes (LaTOUR Intercollegiate and the Colin Montgomerie Invitational) ... 13 of his 30 rounds were at par or better.
• Became the 18th Privateer since 1992 to finish back-to-back rounds in the 60s following rounds of 69 and 67 on opening day at the 2023 Colin Montgomerie Invitational.
• Stroke average of 71.933 during the 2023-2024 season ranks No. 3 all time in a single season in school history.
• Score of 207 at the Colin Montgomerie Invitational in 2024 was the sixth lowest 54-hole score in school history.
• 13 rounds below par during the 2023-2024 season were the most by a Privateer since 2008.
• Two-time Golf Coaches Association of America All-American Scholar following the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons.
• All-Louisiana Second Team selection by the Louisiana Sports Writer's Association following the 2023-2024 season.
