Made only two starts as she battled with the effects
of a torn ACL suffered in 2001...Tallied her lone goal
of the season on Sept. 24 in a game against Nicholls
State...The goal was the match-winning one – her third
career match-winner...Ended the season with just five
total shots.
SOPHOMORE
SEASON (2001)
Appeared in 12
games, starting 11, for the Cajuns before suffering a
season-ending torn ACL at North Texas on Oct.
19...Scored the match-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over
Houston on Oct. 9, helping the Cajuns establish a new
school record for wins...The UH goal was her second
career match-winning goal...Was second on the team with
five points.
FRESHMAN SEASON
(2000)
Team
leader in goals with seven and points with 16...Gave
Cajuns an early 1-0 lead at Centenary with 30-yard
blast...Recorded second multi-goal match of the season
at Arkansas State on Oct. 13...Tallied two goals in
Cajuns 9-1 victory over Alabama A&M, including the
match-winner and her second penalty kick goal of the
season...Had a goal and an assist in Cajuns inaugural
3-2 win over UL Monroe on Sept. 3...Netted Cajuns only
goal in a 7-1 loss at Tulane on a penalty kick.
HIGH SCHOOL
Was a four-year
letterwinner for head coach Brad Cohen of St. Thomas
More High School in Lafayette...Helped lead the Cougars
ro three district championships and two state
titles...Received three All-District awards and helped
lead STM to three state playoff apperances and a 22-1
record one season.
