Louisiana's Carson Glenn Named SBC Offensive Player of the Week

Third-year player led Louisiana to 2-0 record, including SBC opener against Coastal Carolina
NEW ORLEANS – Louisiana third-year forward Carson Glenn was named the Sun Belt Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday following a standout performance during the opening week of league play, the league office announced.
Glenn earned the honor for the second time in her career and first since Oct. 21, 2025, after helping lead the Ragin' Cajuns to a 2-0 week that included a pair of multi-point performances.
The Lewisville, Texas, native recorded eight points on three goals and two assists, opening the week with two goals and an assist in Louisiana's 5-0 road victory at Southern on Sept. 15.
Glenn continued her strong play in Louisiana's Sun Belt opener against Coastal Carolina on Sunday, contributing a goal and an assist in the Ragin' Cajuns' 3-2 comeback victory. With the match tied at 2-2, Glenn broke the deadlock in the 69th minute with her sixth goal of the season, marking her second game-winning goal of the campaign.
Louisiana will return to action Thursday (Sept. 24) when it travels to Norfolk, Va., to face Old Dominion in a Sun Belt Conference matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT.
ODU goalkeeper Ellie Goodrich was selected as the Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week alongside Glenn.
