Louisiana Soccer Earns USC College Team Academic Award

Ragin' Cajuns posted cumulative 3.53 GPA for 2025-26 academic year
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Soccer was one of nearly 800 programs nationally acknowledged by the United Soccer Coaches on Friday as the organization announced the College Team Academic Award winners, recognizing exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year.
A total of 777 soccer teams (326 men, 451 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year.
Louisiana, which posted a 3.53 cumulative grade point average during the 2025-26 academic year, was one of eight Sun Belt women's programs and one of two in-state programs named to the list.
The award for Louisiana marked the 15th overall since the program's inception in 2000. The Ragin' Cajuns earned the Team Academic Award in the following years: 2003, 2004, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
