Red hot Ragin' Cajuns host Big 12 Wildcats in two-game, midweek series
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team returns to M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park this week, hosting Big 12 opponent Kansas State in a two-game midweek series beginning Tuesday at 6 p.m.

On the mound, right-hander Sawyer Pruitt (1-0, 0.00 ERA) is slated to start Tuesday's opener. Pruitt has allowed just one run - none earned - over 8.2 innings this season, striking out 10. Wednesday's starter will be announced.
Kansas State (6-1) enters the week off a 2-1 showing at the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series in Arlington, Texas, earning wins over Nebraska and Michigan. The Wildcats are off to their best start since 2010.
