Louisiana (4-22, 2-13 SBC) shot 36 percent (22-of-61) from the field and went 5-of-14 from 3-point range. The Ragin' Cajuns also forced 22 turnovers and turned them into 13 points.

The Ragin' Cajuns responded with their best stretch in the second quarter, shooting 47 percent and knocking down three 3-pointers. Price hit a key triple with 42 seconds remaining in the half to give Louisiana the lead, then Manley followed with a jumper at the buzzer to send UL into halftime with a 30-26 advantage.

Diawna Carter-Hartley and Daniela Gonzalez combined for eight points to keep the Jaguars in front, Gonzalez hitting a layup at 1:50 for a 40-38 lead.
