Louisiana Falls in Regular Season Finale to No. 59 ODU

Next up for the Cajuns is the Sun Belt Conference Championships, beginning next weekend
NORFOLK, Virginia – The Louisiana men's tennis team fell in their regular season finale to nationally-ranked No. 59 Old Dominion, 4-0, on Saturday in Norfolk, Virginia.
The teams went back and forth in doubles before the Monarchs clinched the point with 6-3 wins on courts two and three.
William Ribero got out to a quick start in singles, taking the opening set without dropping a game. He held the early lead in set two before being forced into a third set. Leonard Tramolay shook off dropping a tight first set to lead 4-1 in the second, but the match was called after ODU earned victories on courts two, four, and five to clinch the match. The Monarchs also clinched an outright Sun Belt Conference regular season title and finished league play undefeated.
The Ragin' Cajuns now travel to Rome, Georgia, for the Sun Belt Conference Championships beginning on Friday, April 18. The full bracket will be released on Sunday after the conclusion of all league matches.
