The Cajuns close a three-match road trip tomorrow at Southern Miss
MOBILE, Alabama – The Louisiana women's tennis team fell in their weekend opener at South Alabama, 4-0, on Saturday in Mobile.
The home side took the doubles point with wins on courts one and two. Louisiana was in a back-and-forth contest on courts one and six in singles. Angelique Berrat led in the second set after a close first set at 5-7, 4-2, when her match went unfinished. Nina Krecklenberg just wrapped up her opening set, falling 6-7, when her's was also unfinished after South Alabama clinched the match with victories on three, four, and five.
Louisiana wraps up a three-match road trip on Sunday at 10 AM against Southern Miss in Hattiesburg.
