Louisiana Continues SBC Action at South Alabama and Southern Miss

The Cajuns continue a three-match road trip this weekend
MOBILE, Alabama – Looking to get back in the win column this weekend, the Louisiana women's tennis team is on the road to face South Alabama on Saturday and Southern Miss on Sunday.
Nina Krecklenberg is having a good season for the Cajuns. The sophomore is 7-2 in singles and 7-4 in doubles. Angelique Berrat is tied with Krecklenberg with seven singles wins while adding six doubles victories. Rocio Navarro has six wins in singles and doubles, while Ivana Castillo has six singles and seven doubles wins for Louisiana.
South Alabama comes into Saturday on a 26-match home winning streak. The Jaguars are 3-3 in SBC play but have lost three in a row, falling to Marshall, Old Dominion, and James Madison. Chems Doha Zeghlouli leads the Jags in singles with a 10-1 record.
Southern Miss has lost four straight and is 0-6 in SBC play. The Golden Eagles have lost eight of the last nine, with the lone victory coming over Alcorn State.
The Cajuns then return home for the final stretch of the season, where they will play three of the final four at Cajun Courts. They'll start that stretch with Old Dominion on Friday, April 4.
